Hi! For the Spring 2021 courses, the Library rolled out a new LTI tool; it will more effectively connect students to library content from within the Blackboard course.

The new LTI tool is labelled "University Libraries" from within your course shell.

If the old "Library Resources" link appears in a course, it is because the instructor copied the course shell content from a previous term. There are several ways to remove this old link. First, the Instructional Design Team can remove it if a faculty member invites them into their course. Second, the faculty member can remove it themselves. Here’s how:

  1. Hover your mouse over the name of the content area called Library Resources
  2. Click on the circular grey icon to the right of the name.
  3. Choose Delete from the drop-down menu.
  4. A pop-up box will appear asking you if you are sure. Click Delete the menu item to delete the link.
