Juried sources, often referred to as scholarly, peer reviewed, or refereed sources, refer to journal articles that have been reviewed by peers and experts in the field, before acceptance by a journal. 

Many of our databases, including Academic Search Premier, have an option to limit results to peer reviewed or refereed articles.
