Ensure you go to JSTOR through the library database tab. Here is a direct link that includes the EZ proxy just in case.

Check that you are using the correct login and password. The username is your 8-letter short name in lowercase. Be sure not to include @shu at the end of the username. 

If your login doesn't work elsewhere, it may be a larger issue. If that is the case, it may be best to contact IT.

Finally, if you are going through the library database link and your username and password are correct, at what point won't JSTOR let you in?  i.e. you can't get into the database at all, or does it just not let you get fulltext of an article?

If you can't get a specific article it may be that we don't subscribe to the journal concerned. In the cases where we do not have access, you may be able to request the article via interlibrary loan.
